Fuselage selection guide: FU600 / FU700 / FU860 / FU1000

Think of fuselage length as the wheelbase. Short is a go-kart; long is a touring car. Neither is wrong — match it to the wing and the ride.

Connection

  • T8 — keep compatibility with SAB / Phantasm-style gear. Ships today in all three lengths.
  • OX — the REVSTAR quick-connect. Same three lengths, plus FU1000.

Not sure? Read the OX vs T8 migration guide.

Prices direct: aluminium from $425, carbon from $450, titanium from $900. See the fuselage catalog for the full table.

Upgrade path

Start on AL. When you know your length, move to TI in the same length and connection — the wings and mast stay. This is the single most cost-effective upgrade in the system because the fuselage is the part that ties everything together.

Questions

Does a longer foil fuselage make it more stable?

Yes. A longer fuselage puts the stabilizer further from the front wing, which damps pitch and increases glide stability. A shorter fuselage reacts faster and turns tighter.

Aluminium, carbon or titanium fuselage — which should I buy?

Aluminium 7075-T6 is durable, stiff and the best value. Carbon saves weight. Titanium is the stiffest and most corrosion-resistant and is what OXZA test riders run. Material does not change fit.

What is the FU1000 fuselage for?

Windsurf-foil race. It is titanium-only and OX-only, built for maximum stiffness under high load. It takes ST-S stabilizers only.
