Planform
Planform — the wing's outline seen from above. How the area is distributed across the span.
The planform is the frontwing's outline seen from above — how its area is distributed across the span. It is the third number to read, after span and profile, because it describes how the lift those two generate gets spread out rather than how much lift there is or where it comes from.
